Peptos First Chewy “Chewy”

Chewy is a gorgeous 3-year-old gelding that is already showing all the right signs of becoming a top-tier horse. He’s been used outside and has been exceptionally gentle, quiet, and easy to get along with from day one. He has been used outside working and ranching all winter and spring, and has been solid every day. Even in this young, slightly awkward stage, as a 3 year old - he is an absolute standout and is only going to get better as he matures and fills into his body. He is absolutely gorgeous! This gelding was started the right way by a hand we’ve trusted for nearly a decade … someone who consistently produces very high-quality horses - and it shows in everything he does. He is soft, correct, and has a great foundation to go on and finish any direction you choose. Whether you’re looking for a barrel or rope horse prospect, Chewy has the mind, ability, and breeding to get there. He is extremely well-bred, with Royal Quick Dash on the top side and Peptoboonsmal along with strong foundation bloodlines on the bottom. It’s a cross you don’t see every day anymore, and it adds a lot of value to what he brings to the table. There are just not a lot of these type of horses being made anymore.
He has been through several sets of shoes, is quiet to catch, lead, load, haul, tie, and handle, and is easy to keep in either a group setting or the barn. He’s been very safe, very solid, and extremely willing. While he’s not quite a beginner horse yet due to his age, he is gentle enough for a novice rider with guidance and has all the makings to turn into a great youth horse, confidence builder, or even a babysitter type as he continues to mature and get finished out.
