"Captain" - 15.1 9 year old grade bay gelding
“Captain” sells unreserved to the highest bidder - don't miss out on this one! He is from old Mexico and has seen a lot of miles! He has actually been used, he has been ridden to actually get somewhere as a transportation mode - and he has seen it ALL!!! He has been to tons of town parties and big events - he is super comfortable in a crowd and around traffic. He has a really uncomplicated style that just about anyone can get along with. He does literally absolutely anywhere that you point him. Has been used on a working ranch and has done lots of roping outside and in the pens. He is just the right age and just the right size. He is stout, healthy, shiny and ready to go ride and use the day you get him! Easy keeper - lives happily outside or in the barn - is good to shoe but has good enough feet to just go barefoot if you aren't just wearing his feet off on lots of rock or road riding. Easy to catch, super friendly and quirky goofy personality. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, solid, prime-age gelding to go ride and use, get your bids in on this guy!
Captain was just shod 2 weeks ago, his teeth were done by an equine dentist last month, and he also had his sheath cleaned and was also power packed wormed at that time. If his new owner prefers him to be barefoot, we can have his shoes pulled and feet freshly trimmed prior to him leaving for his new home.
He will arrive at her new home up to date and ready to go to work!

WE SELL 75% of our horses, site un-seen, to regular, repeat buyers around the world.
We encourage potential buyers to please come and try our sale horses in person - we would love to meet you and your family, and we enjoy selling our horses in person, through sales appointments.
Our time available for sales appointments during the evenings and over the weekends, is EXTREMELY limited.
However, we have many hours blocked off every week that are dedicated for private individual sales appointments. All of these regular hours during the week, are staffed and available full-time, and these appointment hours are all provided for free, at no additional charge to buyers. We are also sometimes available on evenings and weekends for sales appointments, appointments in the evening and on the weekend, do require an up-front booking fee which applies to your purchase.
We typically book sales appointments every weekday at 9AM, 11AM, and 1PM.
We are often fully booked 24-48 hours out.

For appointment requests in the evening, and on the weekends, we do require a non-refundable $1,000 booking fee, which applies towards your purchase.
With a non-refundable $1,000 booking fee, we will try our best to accommodate your request to purchase a horse outside of our regular sales appointment hours - however, not in all cases are we able to accommodate all requests that are outside of our normal hours.
