Blue is a big, gentle, sweetheart of a gelding with a personality that’s just as good as they come.  He actually got his name a little backwards…he’s yellow, so naturally…we call him Blue.  He’s incredibly easy to get along with, very people-oriented, and could honestly care less about other horses.  He much prefers being with his person.  Blue has been ridden extensively outside and is as solid as they come on the trail, whether you’re out alone or in a group.  One of his standout qualities is how confident and independent he is - he’s the kind you can leave behind while the group trots or lopes off, and he’ll just walk along quietly on a loose draping rein, completely content!  He has a nice walk, trot, and lope both directions, a decent stop, and rides around simple and easy without being overly complicated or fancy broke with too many buttons.  He is easy.  He will ride nicely in the arena, can work a gate, and has even been used a little in the turnback pen, but we truly feel he shines best as a comfortable, reliable trail horse.  He hauls great, stands absolutely dead still for mounting and dismounting, and ties quietly to the trailer. He’s the same horse whether you ride him once a week or once a month, making him a great fit for someone looking for consistency and ease.  He’s registered, the right age everyone is looking for, and priced where he won’t last long.  If you’re looking for a big, kind, no-nonsense gelding to enjoy, don’t miss Blue and please give us a call anytime with questions.

We typically book sales appointments Monday-Thursday at 9AM, 11AM, and 1PM.
**When the heat index is over 95 (July/August) our daily sales appointment times move to 5AM, 7AM, and 9AM **

75% of our sale horses are successfully sold to buyers who do not require an appointment to make a purchase decision.
75% of our sales are sight-unseen to excellent repeat or referred buyers worldwide, 

~ However 25% of our sales, are horses that are sold through an in-person sales appointment ~
We are staffed throughout the week, full-time, year-round to accommodate all of our buyers who require an in person sales appointment to be able to make a purchase decision. 

Sales appointments are for serious buyers, buyers who intend to purchase at their sales appointment only.  
We love selling horses in person through private sales appointments.  
Please be respectful of our time and only book a sales appointment if you are currently immediately prepared to make a purchase, and plan to make a purchase at your appointment.  

…If you are just starting to look, are looking to buy in the future, or are not sure yet of what you are looking for and just want to look - we would still absolutely love to help you in your buying journey.   Please consider booking an intro lesson or a block of lessons, instead of a sales appointment, if you are not immediately ready to purchase.

WEEKEND OR EVENING APPOINTMENT REQUESTS:
~ In some cases, we can become available on evenings and weekends for sales appointments!
We require a $500 non-refundable up front fee, (which of-course, applies towards your purchase) for any weekend or evening appointments.
Our time available for sales appointments during the evenings and over the weekends, is EXTREMELY limited.   
Most weekends we are either at a horse sale, at a clinic, booked with lessons, at a competition, at a family event.
….or we are at multiple, or all of the above.
  An evening or weekend appointment, does require us paying our staff, overtime pay.
An after hours appointment also requires a lot of extra coordination outside our regular work hours.  
We currently cover this additional expense ourselves, at no additional cost to our buyers.  
However, in order to be able to scheduled a buyer for an after-hours sales appointment ~ we do require an up-front (non-refundable) $500 booking fee, which of course applies to your purchase.

 We do NOT require an up-front deposit to book an appointment during all of our regular hours!
