"Eggo" - 14.2H, 15 year old palomino quarter horse gelding
"Eggo" is absolute saint! This horse has the kindest soul, he will go all day, is so easy to guide for absolutely anyone, will go anywhere you point him, over any terrain. He has a super soft little pitter-patter jog and lope, naturally goes around low headed on a loose rein, and has a great stop. He catches both his leads, turns around both ways soft and correct, sidepasses each way, and has a great stop. When we picked this guy up, he had been turned out for weeks in a big trap with other horses, and we walked right up to him, hopped on him bareback with a only a hay string, and loped him over to the road and loaded him. These kind are few and far between and we wish we always had 10 of them around. He hasn't totally shed out, and turns a golden color in the summer, he is an easy keeper and is currently barefoot all fours. He was just wormed and just had his teeth done. This gelding is incredibly sweet and willing and just about anyone should be able to be extremely comfortable going anywhere on him. He stands dead still for mount and dismount, is easy to catch, lead, load, tie, saddle, bridle, clip, and bathe. He is happy barn kept, or out in the barn.
